im grateful that my mom does the gross thanksgiving stuff without help...well to be honest, she does the entire thing without asking for help and yes, i did volunteer. once. im reaallllllyy grateful for it though. when i grow up i guess im going to have to convince my husband to eat lunch meat turkey instead of the slimey stuff.
im grateful for our christmas music. Linda Eder is probably my favorite. (sandi patti is not in this list for obvious, tradition-reasons) her rendition of the little drummer boy song will most likely make you pee.
im grateful that i just came back from michaels with the knowledge tht they have the supplies i need to make my sisters christmas gift!! chances are she will get excited from me talking about it constantly and then see it and feel bummed. but she should remember that from day 1 i said i wasnt making anything. so tomorrow, super early in the morning i will be filling up my car (because gas jumped from 1.55 to 1.75 :( --i guess i shouldnt complain though, i was bragging about 2.31 a month ago!) with coupons in hand, heading off to Michaels. yay.
