i dont know how much gas is in utah but i just thought i would let everyone know....when i got my car it was on empty, so i filled it up and it was $20.31
thats it.
cause gas was $2.35, but noowww you can find gas as cheap as $2.15 in columbus :)

oh storry.

so last night i had these big ideas of writing in my blog because i bought a car but then i decided that i would just tell you guys individually beause i pictured people being like thats lame you dont know what youre getting yourself into...buuut if you think about it, if im going to go to OSU in the winter i cant have mo driving me to my classes and there isnt a bus system. that and i just really wanted one =] but i decided not to tell you individually because now i have a story to complain about. (its the last half)

we went down there on tuesday to look at it...it was in the middle of nowhere and it was like a shack looking place cause they just sell the cars on the side of their real job. but when we got there we realized it was by appointment only. so i called and made an appointment even though mo didnt really wanna go cause she said it was weird that they didnt even have the cars out when we went there on tuesday but she agreed. and dad came too so they wouldnt take advantage of the fact that we are like clueless when it comes to cars. so we get there and i drive it, and it drives perfectly...dad said you can hear a little noise when the engine starts so i might have to get some belt replaced in a few months but the tires are good and stuff. and i got it for 500 less than the original selling price...like when they first put it ono the lot. Dad thinks its amazing because he thinks i got the best deal ever. and i agree. obvioulsy its a used car so its not perfect but i honestly think that if they werent open random hours, and if they were located closer to civilization then it definitely would have sold at its original price in no time.

but okay here comes the drama. so im going to put an umbrella in my car just in case, and as im walking towards it (cause i have to parkpretty far away cause you cant park onthe street) i see these two kids that look like theyr e like 9 years old standing near it and being the negative person i am i think ugh what are thsoe little hoodlums doing to m y car...and they see me and run towards their friend. so i get up towards it and theres something coming out of the keyhole (cause its manual) and at first i think oh gross the lining is melting but then i realize...its not melting, its playdoh. i was sooooo ANGRY. so i turn around to yell at these kids but they start running. so what does a ghetto girl do? she gets in her car and runs them down. so i stop my car hwen i see them and then they start running again...it loooked like they were going into a house and you better believe i was prepared to knock on the door and say something. but it turns out they are hiding behind a bush. and im not overly dramatic but im not calm either. and im like why owuld you guys do this?? go read a book! you obviously need help if you think its funny to put this crap in someones car. im 18 years old i dont play stupid games likes this, i bought this car YESTERDAY!!! and you know what? its a REALLY big deal to me!! whats that other kids name? (cause one of them starting running away) where does he live?!?! blahblahblah. and the one kid who helped him do it is freaking scared so hes just staring at me and the other kid who hadnothing to do with it, (he was walking behind me walking his dog) was trying to make me feel better so i didnt start l ike crying or hitting them cause trust me i was mad. so he was like um..i really like your car..it looks pretty.

and then after a while i give up because these kids arent going to tell me wherethey live so i can go say something to their dysfunctional parents who obviously see no problem in lettng their kids run wild. and beause its not really going to damage my car...i mean it might have if i stuck the key in before i saw the playdoh but yeah. thats my story. dad (of course) is pissed for me.

but i think now imgoing to go and look at the other door to see if they did that one too.

finally something to blog about

so today at work im looking at my schedule and christine (manager) comes in and is like come with me so i follow her to sally/christines office and theyre like sit down. so i start complaining and im like i had ANOTHER variance?!?!? when is this going to end??? (cause the day before i left for utah i had a $30 variance..not even kidding) and sally was like what are you talking about? so then i realize thats not it.
and they askme if i want to be full time service desk coordinator. hoooray.
that means i get a name tag that has my name printed in it instead of just on that dymo tape stuff annnnddd im making $1.25 more than i was 7 months ago when i started! annnnd everyne has to listen to me! annnndd im going to get at least 40 hours a week! annnnd im going to start getting work emails! annnnd...okay i cant think of anymore annnnds but im pretty sure its going to rock.
they spent like 45 minutes telling me what they expect of me, cause theyre like youre a realllly good kid, and you make friends really easy but from here out its not going to be about that. people miight start to hate you but theres a bigger picture and all this stuff.
its kinda ironic cause theres this girl who was part time coordinator but then she left to go to school andon her last few days scheduled she just didnt show up. so they were angry and then i got her position...wellll a few months later she called and asked for her job backand theywerel ike uhh i guess...and she was bitter cause they werent going to demote me just for her. and latey shes been doing really good so they were hinting i guess at a coordinator position and she has been telling EVERYONE (including me) that she was going to get full time and all this stuff and she kept saying how much she deserved it and blahbah so after they talked to me they called her in and she was all smiles until they said part time. ha i mean she was nice to my face but im sure it reallllly surprised her. but i dont really feel bad cause she let herself get her hopes up and sally said shes luckyshe even got her job back.
anywho. thats my good news moment. =]
