its a good thing this puppy is private

so i leave for cedar piont today! but not for a few hours. haha im just really excited, so to make the time pass by quicker i'll tell you my dramatic marshalls story that isnt going to be as good cause none of you were there to hear the tone of anyones voicces, among other things..
so im at the service desk with my friend Minnie and she was helping this big black woman who was buying a lot of that ghetto baby stuff. like baby phat, phat farm, encye, and apple bottoms. which nobody should ever put on children. dont be ghetto.
but i didnt even pay attention to her. then this older looking lady who doesnt have many teeth and is obviously really poor came thru my line to return a purse. but the problem is its a Coach purse and she doesnt have the receipt and the tags arent attached. There was a tag inside, that waas obviously for a purse, but it was a tiny bag and it said 229.99, when in reality it was probably 179.00 or less. but either way i had to call my manager, Sally, up to the front cause it would be over $100 and they have to verify that its returnable. so as im paging sally the oldish lady is telling me that she bought it for her grandkid but her grandkid didnt want it, and im like who wouldnt want a free coach purse? and the lady was like uhh well....um..shes only 11.
yeah freaking right. nobody buys an 11 year old a purse THAT expensive. thats retared, especially when you are as clearly poor as this lady was.
so i show sally, and she polietly says we cant return it since its so expensive and the lady flat out said she wasnt sure if thats the right tag.
thats when the black woman comes into the story. she didnt just randomly come in actually, she starts talking so loudly into our conversation that we all the sudden realize shes making a HUUUGGGEEE scene.
its goes like this...
we'll call her ghetto.
ghetto: they is lyin to you what ever your name is whatever your name is whatever your name is
(cause you know how when people make a scene they tend to repeat crap and just get louder andlouder) so i just stare at her andthen look back to the older lady and apologize for the inconvience and blahblalh
ghetto: you guys have done it for me before.
sally: did you have the tags?
ghetto: no. you all are just bein lazy
me: ma'am (trying to keep my cool because she is being soo loud and obnoxious that people from all over the store are staring at her and its annoying and embarassing) could we verify that we had your item in the store? because if there was another one like it then we would have no problem returning this bag. and im sure if she goes to the marshalls she bought it from they would remember the price and it would be fine.
--ghetto then gets quiet for a quarter of a second bc she knows im right, that we did have to verify whatever the smack she was returning. but that quarter of a second was only long enough for her to take in a breath to start complaining again. Keep in mind this lady had NOOOTTTHHINNNGGG to do with the other woman, she just happened to be checking out at the same time. oh and by the way, the lines are so long riht now bc she isnt moving and im still trying to talk to no-teeth. but i dontthink people cared too much cause im sure it was entertaining.
then sally obviously is frustrated so she turns to help another customer who had a question for her.
ghetto: she needs to get both ya'lls names written down. cause you little girl (pointing to me) ...you lyin! that aint right. that aint right.
so after this going on for the longest time. and no, no-teeth isnt saying anything, shes so high on whatever drug she is on that she is just staring either at us, or off at the thing shes hallucinated behind us. and this is the part where my customer service goes out of the window. becuase i had just returned so many crap items already that day that i never wanted to do a return again (i'll get to that when im done with this story)
me: okay this is so much more dramatic than it needs to be. (so now ghetto tries to talk over me and is continuing to call me a liar) so in a tone that woud normal get me in trouble at work i say...
ma'am, seriously, this has nothing to do with you and youre kind of holding up the line, so if youd like to talkto this customer when she and i are finished then thats fine. (towards the end that part got lighter but then she started cussing at me saying who knows what, its been a long time since we were in dc so i dont speak ghetto as well as i used to) so i say. "we. are not. gaining. annnyyyttthiiinnggg, by not returning this bag. infact we are potentially losing what could have come back into our store, because if this was your transaction then you would have known that it has to be store credit anyways because she doesnt have the receipt...i feel like i in the twilight zone right now, this is insane!!"
which i know is rude but whatever cause i heard sally say 'wow go aly, i didnt even think of that' to cristine haha. so they walk away and ghetto is being really rude to no-teeth, and is like girl you gots ta get that other little girls name down (pointing to sally) so you can call and complain. and i just laugh. because sally seriously does look like shes 20, cause shes like 95 lbs and 5'2. but shes second in line at the store so this time i polietly told no-teeth i could write down sallys name for her, but there is a high possibility that she will be directed back to her if she calls and asks for a manager. and then i clocked out.
oh jeez. marshalls.
oh yeah, and those returns. well people are biiig one switching tickets, so it looks like they hve the receipt for it but they are returning old walmart clothes cause you can buy the guns with those plastic tags at like staples and stuff. which i think should be like illegal or something. but a guy returned this gross red shirt, and another one with hearts all over it and i just looked at the tag to make sure it matched the receipt, and i gave him his money back cause he seemed so normal and like he had money and crap and then once he left i was hanging up the clothes, and the tag inside the heart shirt was sooo faded from washing it so many times that you couldnt read anthing and the gross red shirt had red buttons down the front, and one of them was clear, and hand sewn with navy thread. WHAT THE SMACK. i felt like the dumbest person on the planet, i mean it was kiiinda funny that he would try it, but more annoying that i fell for it. lame.
but okay ths novel is long enough, i have to go upstairs and turn off my alarm clock
adios tacos.
cross your fingers i dont pee on erica
