so today at work i was at the service desk...which means i do returns and stuff.

okay so lets pretend someone comes in with something that doesnt have tags...then i have to go have someone do a price check so i give them the right amount of money back...and same goes if they dont have a receipt or tags...bt usually if they dont have either and we cant find the same thing then we dont return it cause we cant prove its from our store.

okay so some guy comes in without either and im like ohh boy you're gonna be here for a while..and i start talking to him about how hot it is outside and being my normal customer service self and then he whips out his Sidekick..and im like ohh man i hate that phone! so i tell him my dramatic story about how mine broke and then he goes oh that sucks. well all the guys on my team have them so if i didnt i'd feel pretty left out. and then i just laugh and keep staring off into space trying not to think about how long we're going to be standing there in silence. so i finally say..."what sport do you play" because this is one of the buffest guys ive seen in real life.

and he casually says "oh, i play for osu football."

and being the person i am i say "ohhhhhh yeah....OKAYYYY." and laugh. because why would someone as rich as he is shop at marshalls...he could pay full price and not think twice. and he goes "no...really." and puts his hand on the desk and i see the BIGGGGGESSTT ring ever. and of course it says OSU championship or whatever. and i say "shut up!! man, thats hardcore." and then he laughs at me. and was like...uhh yeah hah...thanks.

and then gerry my manager who is the BIGGEST osu football fan ever comes up (after the guy waled away to keep looking at clothes) and was like sorry..we cant return this. and i know if i told him he was a buckeye player than he would probaby give it to him for free..haha seriosly. he broadcasts the games instead of the radio during football season. but thaddeus gibson (the player) was too close otherwise i totally would have. oh jeez. after he left i told christine who freaked out and told gerry and then gerry was mad at himself for the rest of the day and moping around cause he didnt go up and talk to him.

okay and i tried to find a picture of the championship ring but he was telling me they just got them in so i cant find a good one on the internet..but i found a picture of someone wearing one like it so you can see how big it is...
