so today at work someone called to ask me a question. our conversation went like this:
me: hi, this is alyssa what can i do for you
her: hello alyssa thisi margaret from (insert companys name that i dont care about)
me: how are you?
her: im good how are you?
me: great. how are you? (long pause) oh wait.
haha oh jeeez im retarded so then she asks
her: do you guys carry any golf bags?
(i know we dont but i feel stupid for sounding so cheerful and repeting something i just said 2 seconds before, so i just want to get away from the phone and laugh at myself..plus it was awkward)
me: let me go check.....
okay sorry, we dont carry golfbags BUT we do carry golf-cooolers.
--this is the part where she should have said..why the smack would i care about golf cooolers??? you can get those anywhere, plus thats not what i asked!!!
but instead she is nice and says
her: oh um okay..well i dont tink we'll be needing those..thanks though!
